As a Protégé, you will be immersed in the daily activities of National Community Church, with intentional growth opportunities.

Huddles

Once a week, all proteges huddle for an intensive two-hour time of formal learning. You will hear from leaders in ministry, including Pastor Mark Batterson and other innovative leaders. Deep community is built among the protege cohort as you discuss the burning issues of the day, challenge each other, and hold each other accountable.

Labs

The lab is an interactive time where you will be able to put into practice what you are learning during huddles. This can be leadership development activities, observation, experiential or reflection.

Practicum

Our practicum experience focuses on providing proteges with experiences in local church ministry and their specific department. This is accomplished through hands-on training, project ownership or development, managing and developing volunteers, participating in our missions, and more.
