NCC Youth

.

Intimacy with God. Community with peers.
Influence in the world.

Overview

Each week, students experience live worship led by our NCC worship team and a TED-style message followed by discussions for middle school and high school small groups. Students can participate in our annual Winter Escape Retreat and Summer Mission Camp as well as other activities designed just for them.

It is our priority to make sure that students are engaging in their worlds and being positive influencers to others around them. God has wired them specifically with the circle of friends and influences that they have. We aim to equip, support, encourage and build them up so that they can engage in their environments at school and at home throughout each week.

NCC Youth vision

NCC Youth Leaders
We have incredible adult leaders who have committed for the entire school year to invest in students. Leaders complete thorough training, a background check, an application process, and an interview and we are confident in their ability to support both students and their families.

NCC Youth Philosophy
We value and encourage our students to have intimacy with God, community with believers, and influence in their worlds. Our greatest goal is that each student who gets involved with NCC Youth will develop a strong faith foundation and have a personal relationship with Jesus. Our gatherings are designed to intentionally invest in our youth and encourage them to explore their faith in the context of their daily lives.

Engaging in the Body of Christ
We believe that it is important for teenagers to engage and be a part of the body of Christ, so we encourage our youth to be involved in church-wide events rather than having many separate youth events. We join in NCC’s campus-based serving initiatives and have our students attend the regular church service. We also encourage students to join NCC Mission Trips so they can build relationships with one another and adults in the church.
