We believe each child is created to have a relationship with God and with unique talents and abilities to influence their world and community.
Our hope is that each child will have an insatiable desire to be part of God’s church. One of the ways that we do this is by creating a fun and exciting environment during our services with worship, a meaningful lesson, games, and activities. We connect each child to a small group leader who is investing in their lives several times per month.
We recognize that no one has more influence over a child than his or her parent. What happens at home is much more important than what happens in the hour we spend with kids during church. We are committed to partnering with parents by providing resources, tools, and the fellowship you need to support your kids spiritually.

A secure check-in, an engaging kids service, and comprehensive safety protocols.
Whether this is your first time at NCC or you are new to a specific location, we hope to provide you with all of the information you need so that you know what to expect when you arrive.
First Time Guest & Check-In Procedures
Our Family Connect check-in station opens 15 minutes prior to the service. For first-time visitors, you will fill out an information card for your family. If your child receives any support at school, use this form to inform us so we can best serve your child.
Upon check-in, parents and children will receive matching security stickers. Only individuals with a security sticker are permitted to enter the kids’ space. When service concludes, you can pick up your child at their room by presenting your matching security sticker. If you misplace your sticker, please check-in at the NCC Kids front desk.
Safety and Security
We take the safety of your child seriously! All of our adult volunteers complete a LexisNexis background screening and are approved through an application process. We utilize a check-in process where a security tag is issued at drop-off to parents/guardians which is used to check out a child. NCC Kids hallways/classrooms are a secure area where only background checked volunteers and parents with security tags are allowed entrance.
If your child needs you, we will text you at the parent/guardian number selected at check-in. You can select more than one contact or enter a temporary number if your child is dropped off by someone else that week.
Partnering with Parents in the Discipleship Process
During our services, kids are presented with a lesson from the Bible, engaging small groups, fun games, and meaningful activities where they can build relationships with one another and learn more about God.
It is our priority to teach kids things that can be applied at home. We are committed to providing parents with tools so that they can continue what kids learn on the weekends at church throughout the week at home.
Under the Parent Resources tab, you can download the Parent Cue app to see weekly prompts and reminders that go along with the Preschool and Elementary lessons each week.
Babies
Infants – 23 months
The littlest ones of NCC Kids are important to us! Our volunteers are loving people who will provide a well-supervised and engaging environment for your child. We believe that even at the youngest age, kids can learn how much God loves them! Our Babies room opens for check-in 15 minutes prior to service. After check-in, babies can be dropped off at their room. Be sure to label all of your child’s belongings. We have a Kids Director available at each location to connect you to our kids’ ministry and answer any questions you might have.
Preschool
2–5 years old
Our preschool program is an interactive environment where your child will learn about God through stories in the Bible, games, and crafts that they can bring home! Each month, we focus on one of three key phrases that we believe are important foundations for faith: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Elementary
Kindergarten – 5th grade
Our elementary environment includes interactive worship, a Bible story presentation, activities, games, and small group time with a consistent leader. In each lesson, we teach a story from the Bible that encourages faith, wisdom, and friendship.

Weekly Content
We are committed to partnering with parents by providing a plan that will give them the tools they need to support their kids spiritually.
No one has more influence over a child than his or her parents. Each year, we spend about 40 hours with your kids in church, but you spend about 3,000 hours with your kids at home! Because of this, we believe what happens at home is more important than what happens at church.

Dedicating Your Baby to God
Dedicating your baby is an exciting faith milestone that allows your NCC family to pray over you, your child, and your family while friends are present to walk with you through this stage of your life!
Child dedication is not baptism, but is instead a public expression of your desire to follow God and raise your child to love Jesus. By choosing to have your child dedicated, you are making a declaration that your child belongs to God and you are committed to teaching biblical values to your family. You are also inviting the church community to be a part of your child’s faith journey and spiritual development.
Please fill out this form at least 3 weeks prior to requested dedication date.
