What to Expect

What Sundays are like

Our Sunday services last about 90 minutes. You’re welcome to participate in joyful worship led by our stellar worship team, or just sit back and listen. You’ll hear a Bible-based message from Pastor Mark Batterson or another member of our teaching team, either live or via video feed. Then you’ll have the opportunity to receive prayer after services. You’ll also have a chance to meet some people and get connected post-service.

Coffee

Stop by the lobby before service begins and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on us. We proudly serve custom-ground coffee from our own coffeehouse, Ebenezers. Feel free to bring it into the service with you.

Families & Kids

NCC Kids

NCC Kids check-in opens 15 minutes prior to the service. Upon check-in, you will receive a security badge. When service concludes, you can pick up your child at their room by presenting your matching security badge. Every person who works in NCC Kids has been carefully screened and trained.

BabiesInfants
Infants -24 months

Our loving, screened volunteers provide a well-supervised and engaging environment for your child. We believe that even babies can learn how much God loves them! We have two environments for our littlest ones. You’ll be directed to the proper room for drop-off.

Preschool
2 years – 5 years

Our preschool program is an interactive environment where your child will learn about God through stories in the Bible, games, and crafts that they can bring home! Kids will learn: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Elementary
Kindergarten – 5th grade

Our elementary environment includes interactive worship, a Bible story presentation, activities, games, and small group time with a consistent leader. Every week, kids will learn three key principles: I need to make wise choices, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

NCC Youth

6th – 12th grade

Teens experience community, worship, and a message that initiates incredible discussions. We have devoted adult leaders that have committed for the entire school year to invest in your kids. They have gone through training, a background check, application process and an in-depth interview.

NCC NoVA Youth meets during the 10:30am service on Sundays.
