Groups, Events & Courses

Many of our small groups are specifically designed for married couples or families. Groups across all our campuses can be found at ncc.re/groups. Here, you can filter by family-friendly options (childcare provided or kids included), groups specifically for couples and families, or groups focused on marriage, parenting, finances, and more!

  • Capitol Hill Family Meetup Crew Saturdays at 9:00am
    A low-key meetup group for families with kiddos age 0-high school who live on the Hill. 
  • The Marriage Course – Online Tuesdays at 7:30pm (online)
    This course is designed to equip you with tools to build a healthy marriage and to strengthen the connection between you as a couple.
  • Military Families Sundays at 3:00pm
    This is a group primarily for Military Families, but also open to other transient families, veterans, or those associated with service (police, firefighters, etc).
  • Navigating Your Finances God’s Way for Couples Mondays at 6:30pm
    This course is designed to equip you with tools to build a healthy marriage and to strengthen the connection between you as a couple.
  • NCC NoVA Women’s Group Tuesdays at 7:00pm (online)
    NCC NoVA Women’s Group is a long-time running small group.  This semester, the curriculum will focus on families and marriages.
  • NE Married Couples Tuesdays at 6:00pm
    The NE Married Couples small group will be walking through “You & Me Forever” by Francis and Lisa Chan this fall and discussing marriage in light of eternity.
  • Parent Connection Wednesdays at 6:30pm
    This group will provide a safe space to discuss tough topics as we connect and build a community of support.
  • Prepare: Engaged Couples Wednesdays at 7pm
    A premarital preparation group for engaged or pre-engaged couples considering covenant relationship in marriage. We use the Prepare Assessment and Couples Workbook.
  • DivorceCare Mondays at 6:30pm
    You don’t have to go through it alone. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Childcare provided (infants through 5th grade).
  • Faith After Divorce Every other Tuesday at 7:30pm (online)
    This group is for those navigating life as a divorced Christian. It meets every-other-week online and monthly in-person.
